Following the success of "Ingo Lenssen, Your Verdict Please", a new type of show named "Lenßen Explains" first aired on SAT.1 Gold in October 2014. In this show, Lenßen, the TV lawyer, clarifies many popular misconceptions regarding daily legal issues, for instance concerning tenancy law and consumer law. Sketches are shown using both real, as well as fictional cases in order to illustrate various points.

After receiving his law diploma in Constance, Germany in 1988, Ingo Lenßen worked for a law firm in Rio de Janeiro. In 1989 he completed his state examination and consequently studied European Law at Saarland University. He was admitted to the Bar in 1990 and started to work for the firm Müller, Lenßen & Beck in Meersburg, Germany. He was a partner at the firm until 2003. He has been working as a specialist for criminal law since 1997, and he also deals with issues concerning inheritance.
As of 2002, Ingo Lenßen has appeared on camera in more than 1,400 shows. What's more, he has written various books, hosted lectures and is generally regarded by the media and the public as the "People's Attorney".
